Gaffes from “The Independant”
A briefcase was stolen from a vehicle parked outside Whitchurch post office. The owner had left the car unlocked while she pooped in the shop.
We would advise anyone not to put babies or children at potential risk by dangling them over a balcony.

The Club’s Annual General Meeting.Thursday 1st May 2003
Special guest Albert Smith attended.
Treasurer - John Pulham reported :-
General Fund £1990.56 Entertainment Fund £1248.83
Marathon Fund £4322.39 Benevolent Fund £1202.39

John was hoping to persuade every member to pay for their meals, monthly.
Annual subscription was fixed at £80 per member. This was due to R.I.B.I. and District putting up their dues.
The Club Council for next year was elected as follows :- Terry Kay, John Connah, Archie Poulter, Gordon Gilbert, Trevor Hawkins, Derek Cook, John Bater (President) Keir Wyatt,Malcolm Heath, John Pulham and Past President Owen Lower.
Stanley Payne and Ralph Tempest were re-elected as Honorary Members.
